Mexico City is rather like another Planet or Galaxy!!! Really!
Magic, well, maybe.

Yes it is................I have been there twice and found it exhilerating, smoggy and very very weird.
I do remember seeing the big Cathedral slowly sinking into the ground because of the wight of precious metals inside while a large amount of the people are hungry.

I am allergic to the altitude. I can no longer visit my relatives there. They'll have to come here. And guess what: they almost never do....thanks for your take on La Capital....

Ha! So was I.............I even got headaches at the Grand Canyon!
Luckily my relatives are mostly in Europe but my daughter in the US is unlikely to visit us here!

I DID NOT think the Grand Canyon was that high. My son just got back from
an exhausting Machu Picchu Trek which took them as high as 15000'....not sure how
they did it...other than going slow. Sir Edmund Hillary and Tensing climbed the
Everest w/o bottled oxygen...at almost 30 thousand feet. Very slowly, indeed.

Yep I know...............always wanted to go to high places but feel everything is drying and being squeezed out of my body. Then the huge headache!
Some people are just tough!

I like designs of moving things .....Would love to have been a designer...but you can't do everything

One finds almost anything in Mexico City. Usually there are a half dozen
men working on the engine, the car parked on the sidewalk. They don't have the $ to
go to 'The Dealership Repair Shop'...so they all get together and try to figure out what's
best to get 'er runnin' again. Saw a Netflix movie last night, one which at least made
me happy ~ most of the stuff on Netflix is not worth watching...and/or just horrible.
Anyway, movie called Leap Year with Amy Adams and Matthew Goode, the
Car Racing Dude on Downton Abbey who finally ends up with Mary. Most of it
takes place in Ireland....scenery just gorgeous....maybe you'd enjoy it!!!

THANKS for the lovely comments Trish....hugs from Dick

Our son pays for Netflix ~ as he can designate a couple of guests...and he still pays only $7/month.
Not much good on Netflix either....one really has to look...and look. We do pay a monthly fee for internet
including cable TV. Not much on TV either. We do donate to Public Television...much better programing.

We psy for tv licence yearly.A national thing..Quite expensive!!! which includes tv programmes on the internet too.BBC recently moved BBC3 from Tv to the internet...The trouble is it's not good for everyone to watch a tiny computer pic!!!.....we have to pay for extras too!!!!You get fined if you do not have a licence!!!

It's a free download App for both Android Samsung and iPhones. Simple photo editor, not nearly as elaborate as Photoshop. Worth a try tho!
