Wow, I'm on a roll lately
Actually, this was a super-inspired-must-paint-right-now-painting. I stumbled over the beautiful gallery of *miobi , and saw a photograph that instantly inspired me, so I had to sit down and paint this. It's been a kind of new experience for me, because it's not a portrait, and it's not my usual style either.
But it was fun
I think I'm going to explore this further and stop painting only portraits, it's time for me to do some full-body works and think of cool concepts as well!Feedback is very much apprechiated, as always

I'm afraid I'm not looking for more people to watch at the moment, because I'm already watching too many to be an active watcher to most. However, I'd be glad to provide some constructive feedback on your deviations if you want to!

The first thought that came to my mind was exactly the same. This is not your usual style but ith as a strange appeal. If I were to seperate the colors and patterns from the girl they would manage to make two seperate works.
The patterns look good since the colors involved and how they merge give a feel that it is not an amateur making it while the patterns then make it feel like the depiction of a childish dream or perhaps childish goals. This combined with the girl in the sentre with the totally different style and with the blue sea like shirt that has within it a heart (A Jellyfish heart???) is just amazing. I love how hte styles are different and how there is reflection across her arms as well as her face.
The final touch that I just adore are the black hair. The locks here are truly as one would say... belonging to a fairy tale... Over all a wonderful work
