Quarrel is a textbook colt; a testosterone-fuelled mass of vitality noted for his astute nature as well as his magnificent appearance—remarkable, to be sure, but the trouble is, he's well aware of it. If you've fallen for his ruse, he's got you exactly where he wants you - he retains a stash of tricks in his back pocket for when you're not paying attention.
HISTORY:
Foaled in Florida, this colourful colt was bred by Mr. R.A. Whitworth. He was purchased in February 2019 from the Ocala Breeders' Sale of two-year-olds in training for $26,000 by Mike. W. Right, agent, on behalf of English-Irish born partners, Patrick Hodge and Theo O'Donovan of Crimson Reaper Racing, LLC. Following an undefeated juvenile season and ahead of what was to be a stellar three-year-old campaign, Hodge stated that the duo's partnership had dissolved, and the colt was set to race in the black, white and vermilion of O'Donovan's Redshanks' operation.
APPEARANCE:
A robust, exceptional individual with near-perfect proportional equilibrium. While his flashy colouring draws attention at first, a detailed study of his conformation reveals an artfully-rounded shoulder, an even flank, and the classic, deep barrelled body of the Storm Cat line. He has well-crafted legs and stands perfectly square.
