Description
With the test on watercolor effect. I'm going to make a series of this. It'll be such a turning point of my porfolio.I'm not quite satisfied with the first try. Hope it'll turn out better next time.

The first element that atracted me towards this is the flamboyant use of Red and Pink. It literally dragged me to enlarge and view better. So impact wise it gets full marks. The technique doesn't have anything unique, still it works rather well with the subject. Just like some colors transcending in the background, green color of her robe too could have been blended more than what it is. Drawing is generally good, however anatomy neds to be improved. Especially that of fingers. Also, the thumbline of left hand seems to have blended with the inner palm. Overall, this rendering is eye catching indeed.

Not really. It is kind of watercolor monoprint, an old technique I got to know since grammar school.
