Hello hello hi, good evening everyone! And before you ask, yes, I now have a dragon son. There are dragons in my OCniverse(s). Whoops.

((btw sorry I'm gonna be a bit incomprehensible, maybe, as I'm sick right now and I need, like, 3 gallons of tea))

His name is Astre, The Pitch-Black Dragon (or, as stated, the 309th descendant of said dragon). He's young and can't properly transform into his full dragon form yet (alr this is actually an excuse for my inability to draw actual dragons, I'll try improving myself so that I can draw him in all of his dragon-y glory pls don't shoot me), like he's under 100 dragon years old--maybe not even half that?? I don't really know, he looks about 10 in his humanoid form though.

Astre is... a creepy child, pretty much. And being a dragon whose powers include being able to manipulate darkness and even pull people's minds into a "void" that can induce mental trauma... nothing's gonna end well if you mess with him. Also I'm just gonna say that being creepy is the norm of being a Pitch-Black Dragon (it runs in their blood lmao), which is why people tend to avoid them. Though if you managed to be in the presence of one, it is advised to just go along with them (and don't avoid them if they want your attention), though doing that will also open a hellish cycle if the dragon decides they want to be "friends" with you.

You see, to be friends with a Pitch-Black Dragon and not die, you have to be completely loyal to them and never make them feel like you dislike them. Some descendants are more tolerant about not hanging out all the time with their friends, but not...Astre... yeah.

The Pitch-Black Dragons are basically yanderes lmao. And the first of the race in the history of my OCniverse is known to pull an entire country into darkness just because the prince of said country refused to be her friend... which is the original reason why people are scared of them.

By the way, his design is mostly inspired by Miwashiba's dragons--like in LiEat, also partly inspired by Funamusea's designs, as usual. Though Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon also plays a part in why I wanna make a dragon character lololol.

(Actually I'm more shook at the fact that I haven't thought of making a dragon character until now, even though I love making various concepts for characters... why.. why haven't I made a dragon until now)

For now, because it feels like my brain is boiling inside of my head and I still need to study for finals--which starts tomorrow btw-- I guess that's all I can say rn! I'm gonna get more tea now.
