I wish I had seen it ... I have seen a lunar eclipse back in the 1980s (or very early 1990s) while sitting in the hot tub with someone really special.

I remember when I was younger, I was camping in the winter time. During one night, I got up to go use the bathroom from my tent. Outside, everything had been illuminated red, and I did not know why.
Looking back on it now, I realize that it was a Lunar Eclipse.

Well, we don't have really a hard winter here in the South ... no snow, but it can be fairly cold.  I think this was during the summer time.

Probably about the low 20s or even into the 10s ... I do know we were out in the marshes camping when it got down to freezing once.  Lucky for us, it was off of the Scouting Camp for both boys and girls and we did have facilities.  My aunt had loaned me a toilet seat cushion.
