The Udagawa Mural in Shibuya. We had a lot of difficulty finding this place, as it's not particularly famous (or at least, it wasn't before The World Ends With You came out
).The real thing is quite a lot more colorful than the one in the game, and (naturally) it doesn't have the 'cat' graffiti. ...but there's no doubting this is the real thing, given the slant of the wall, the stairs just down the street from it, which also match the game, and other landmarks near by.

Some parts have dulled and others have been painted over. It's great that your photo exists and retains the older, prettier state.
(But anyway, I only got TWEWY this year, and after completing the main story, I found Shibuya in Google Maps and had a blast finding all the locations and references. I only found the mural with the help of your photo, though.)

I knew Shibuya was a real place, but wasn't sure how acurately it was depicted in The World Ends With You. Then i went online and looked at photos around the city. This is the most recent i've seen, and they did a great job. Nice panorama
