Description This one was quite different form my other sculptures since I got the chance to play a bit with the most delicate features like small finger bones and muscle tendrils.

It has its own little stand to stand on. It is balanced so it stands on her leg and requires no additional support. Infact it is not attached to the stand and can just as easily stand on your hand if picked up.

Well, just following somple anatomy images online is enough to make something like this. It's fantasy creature so even if parts would be off nobody would really notice cause it's made up

That is very true, it's good to base it in reality but one of the best things about dragons is you can make them any way you want and no one can say they are wrong!

So you turn into an unead dragon?
I would prefere an undead unicorn.
Well done though.

It's meant that the body starts to decay, whatever you'd happen to be. in this case a dragon become undead and paid the price
Thank you ^^

Wow, this is stunning work! First time I've ever seen anythibg like this. The wings are absolutely marvelous. They look like torn nylon - excellent effect! Did you use anything to rigidify them or will they forever be incredibly delicate and fragile?Β

Thanks ^^ Yes those are indeed nylon (or women stockings ) I just coatedΒ  them in varnish. White glue would work fine too

Well, that would be nice, but no. He once was a real dragon but then.. wanted more.. There is a short story for that Β
(rivalmit.com/gallery/1-sculptu… )

"For such short lived creatures as we humans are, the average dragon lifespan seems already unimaginably long. At least when they do not slaughter each other in territorial or power conflicts before they reach the end of their natural lifespan.
But for some of them it's still magnitudes too short.

"Luckily" there are ways of prolonging the physical presence in this world, quite massively even. However, such practices come with high stakes and even for those which not fail the procedure it comes at high costs. While being practically immortal the bodies are not thoroughly immune to the tooth of time and more often than not start to rot away which is quite unhandy, especially for flying.

Dragons deciding to bestow such fate upon themselves should have gathered enough slaves to do most of the work that their failing bodies can no longer do."

Beautifully done! Such incredible details, and rather impressive how you pulled off the balancing feat!
What materials did you use to create her? (The wings look almost as if they're made of torn nylon stocking?)
Congratulations on a well-deserved DD!
