Description
It just sort of happened...Mated pair of beetles, permanently attached by static electricity. The pair form a ball, known as a voltorb due to the static produced by the pair. They will burst if you try to separate them.Related content

I don't have to to know much about Pokemon to love this concept. I had to look up Voltorb to remember it had eyes, because those spots make me think "ladybug" first. Genius: real eyes don't look much like cartoon eyes, but eyespots (or just spots) can. My favorite touch is how their heads fit together by not aligning exactly.

It makes perfect sense, because this one is made out of bugs unlike the original, the key words here being "this one".

When you said that "Voltrob" was "Insect/Electirc", you had not said "this one", at all. This led me to believe you were talking about the original Voltorb, and it being Bug/Electric type, which you stated made "perfect sense". But frankly, whichever Voltorb you were talking about, neither circumstance would have made "perfect sense." As I said before, it's just creative and unique. nothing more. well. maybe something more. I didn't really analyze it that much. but you get the idea.

Epic. Although if I were you, I'd have gone with charizard, seeing as you are good at dragon-like concepts (not that this one is bad, I like it!).

I may do a charizard, was also thinking of doing a Hydreigon concept as well. I felt the idea behind this was worth having a go, plus it took me about an hour to an hour and a half to paint this so not a total loss if it ended up sucking...but I feel satisfied with the result...
