Tongue, throat, tongueslayer of the word and stealer of wisdom
These whipping black tongues
aching to lick me back to life
to inject their truths within me

This is a piece I've been working on off and on for the past few months...It originally started as a weird texture idea, but became this, and I'm quite proud of it...not for its technical merit (which is the reason I started it and the technical merit isn't really anything special) but the overall concept of what the image is about. Its a sick lustful show of affection between two "things" The caressing of two tongues is so intimate, yet can be seen as so vile when broken down to its barest form, wet slimy muscles coated in saliva sharing their moisture and arousing their desires.
Rendered in 1.3 hours in 3D Studio Max 6. 100% procedural texturing with raytracing and light tracer. The tongues are simple lofts, the power is in the texture itself. I wanted to go slimier but I think this suits it just fine

you know, I tried to do something kinda like this once...
but there's no way I could texture like that, and I couldn't
in my wildest dreams get the curves right.
this is really a great peice, you are a very talented person
and this is really breathetaking, I'm utterly shocked and amazed
at what you've created, what's weird is that I tried to do something
similar to this, and it came out like shit....but you, you....you have
done it far beyond even my imagination could understand.
