I started working on this, and realized after I started to write it that a lot of stuff was covered with no explanation.
Hence the disclaimer at the beginning.
Perhaps after a little while, I'll go ahead and cover some of the other stuff, and how they effect an image and can be used artfully.

How goes the moon business? Tonight, 12/12/08 is the largest and brightest moon we'll see in quite a while. The moon rise was at 4:46 pm, with the sunset at 4:43 pm. Perfect for what I was hoping to do. But , we have a low pressure system, with low clouds and rain due all weekend. I did get an interesting shot last night, happened to be in the right place for an un-usual view. I'll post it in while.

Yep, the tut was still helpful. More detail always helps us newbs

The moon thing is a bit frustrating because life (and clouds) are getting in the way of the moon rise...

Interested to see the shot when you get it up.
