I use a Nikon D7000. And that picture was taken with the old 50mm lens that's all manual(took it from an old Nikon FE I got from my grandmother). It's a great lens overall and I love it, despite it being a chore to work with at times.Β
And for future references, I never mind answering questions.

Ah, okay! I use a Nikon D3100 (I don't post my photos on the same account as my art. I was initially a bit averse to making my work public, but as soon as I have the chance, I'll be uploading to another account. I just fine it easier that way since people know me for fandom art.) Still, that's very impressive! I love hearing about what other photographers use. Anyway, thank you so much for answering my question!

Well most of your limitations are in the glass(lenses), with good lenses you can do incredible things. The D3100 is a great camera for it's pricerange, I know because my darling fiance has one. And the images are crisp and nice, sure it's low light capabilities are a bit rubbish. But it's still a great camera.Β
At the end of the day, sure gear matters, but so does talent and having the right eye.Β
If you ever find yourself looking for an upgrade I'd recommend looking into lenses rather than a new camera. Because that'll make a huge difference(plus if you get a new camera later on with the same lens mount you'll still have the lenses

Ah, mine was a gift, so I wouldn't say I know how much it cost. ^^ However, I did get a new lens for it, so I tend to prefer that one for its range. I have had a lot of trouble with darker lighting, but I've found that the pros outweigh the cons.Β

Yup, that's Luna. She's more like a dog in her mindset, she spent the last few weeks following me around the apartment I was staying in. Waiting by the door when I went outside. Running to greet me when I got back home after being out and about. I miss her already. Not as much as some other 'real' people, but still a lot.

It's not too bad though, I mean I'm technically allergic to cats but I don't mind this. Of course trying to work on the laptop while you're being used as a catbed by 3 out of the 4 cats is kinda tricky. But far from impossible!
