The snow has finally melted by the beginning of june, and the white coat of this woodland caribou (Rangifer tarandus) will fall within weeks to let appear a brown, grey and blackish fur.This day, a thick fog was covering the top of the mountains until 2 o'clock. They were a few caribous very relax in front of me.
I noticed that a lot of wild animals can behave less shy than usual when the meteo is dark, foggy or rainy.

Some individuals are more witish than others, but thoses caribous turns very white for the winter, unless they are the more southerners of their species.
