I was in the world of the summits, walking in the clouds. This woodland caribou (Rangifer tarandus) came out, like out of a cartoon with its big feet, its white coat and its new grown antlers. Early june has finally got rid of the snow, which will allow them to lose their white coat.I had a very special day encountering them in that mystical mist !

It's a Woodland Caribou or Tundra Caribou? (I mean, are you sure it's a Woodland here?)

I would like a tundra caribou, but there is no tundra caribou in Gaspesie, the southern shore of Saint-Lawrence river.

Ok, I just ask that cause i'm in "Protection and Development of Wildlife Habitats" and in mammals identification we see the Tundra Caribou and the Woodland Caribou, and cause I didn't know where you took this shot, and the landscape is poor, I thought that. Anyway, I'm happy for you, and nice shot yeap
