I watched a review of "Return to Zombie Island" and that made me wanna do a quick Velma doodle. its sounds like they used her in the new movie to basically undercut the first movie which sounds dumb. Kind of feeds into this mind set of "old things are bad" that's going aroundRelated content

Zombie Island is my absolute favorite Scooby Doo movie. When I heard that they were making a sequel to this movie, I was INCREDIBLY concerned due to the quality of recent Scooby Doo films and Zombie Island, imo, is perfect. How do you top it? Answer: You don't. T_T
Return to Zombie Island was unnecessary and an insult to the original, I swear. The whole deal with Zombie Island were "the monsters are real". No guys in masks. Real paranormal activity. But... according to the sequel, apparently that's not the case? Bah, way to screw up sequel.

Yeah the Return to Zombie was really fake at the end I heard and they try go back using the 2010 rebooted series but they started to become dumb after musical movie I feel like they are dumbing down the franchise sadly.Β

I don't consider Return to Zombie Island to take place in the exact same timeline as the original. In my idea of this timeline, the original story happened, but the events played out slightly differently with the gang still teenagers, and the mystery machine still being the original.
