Description Days 147-153 (3-26-12 to 4-1-12): More Avatar/Legend of Korra! I love all the critters in these shows, and I thought it would be cute to put them all together in one picture Naga and Pabu are basically the new Appa and Momo...you just can't replace Appa and Momo, but I gotta admit, Naga and Pabu are pretty cute.

Monday: History was cancelled this morning, so it was nice to sleep in. I had more Fringe rehearsal in the afternoon, and then I went to Starbucks with Devon. We had more Spring Sing rehearsal in the evening.
~
Tuesday: I played in colloquium today, but it was breakout sessions, so I was the only one who played for woodwinds/brass. It still went pretty well though! I had more Fringe and Spring Sing rehearsal tonight. I also went and saw the Gender/Ethnicity performance, which was really wonderful. It was great to see what some of my friends have been working on and I'd heard so much about the project, so I was excited to get to see their piece.
~
Wednesday: Nothing particularly exciting happened today, just more Fringe and Spring Sing rehearsal! Everything's coming along pretty well
~
Thursday: I had a nice lunch with Adam, Taylor, Analicia and Margie today. We had a really long Spring Sing rehearsal, and I had to go do my NT biblical research project after, so I was up pretty late and now I'm super tired haha!
~
Friday: We had our Spring Sing dress rehearsal at the Santa Barbara Bowl, and it went really well! I'm pretty excited about Spring Sing tomorrow! Also, we went to Starbucks, and President Beebe was there, and he generously bought our drinks
~
Saturday: Spring Sing! Finally! My mom and cousin Kyla arrived in the early afternoon, and we went out to lunch and I gave them a tour of the campus. It's so great to have them here Of course, when we left to go to the bowl, it started raining, and by the time we got there, it was pouring rain. We all had to wait outside for an hour before being let into the bowl, so we were all soaking wet and madly trying to keep all the props dry so that they wouldn't break. We got up to the bowl and it's outdoor seating, so we tried to find dry places to put things and we all cut holes in trash bags and wore them like rain jackets. Sitting on the cold wet concrete was not enjoyable...but we soon forgot how cold and miserable we were once the show got started. It was such a fun evening, there were so many fantastic acts! I'm so happy that the Page Men won, they totally deserved it. Since they won, we got to go out for pizza after, which was a blast
~
Sunday: Mom and Kyla and I had breakfast at D'Angelos and then walked down State Street. It was a beautiful day, despite yesterday's downpour. Kyla and I got pedicures, which was super fun, and then we kept walking up State and stopped by the fountain to see the turtles and got coffee at French Press. I got a super cute new dress for Easter at Anthropologie also We drove out to the cliffs to the park and spent a while just relaxing and walking around before driving to another beach by the lighthouse, where we walked and talked and just had a great time being outside. We drove back up to campus and picked up Margie and we all went out for dinner at Pascucci, which was delicious! After, Mom and Kyla left for San Diego, and I had Fringe rehearsal. Overall, an amazing weekend
