You had to have seen this coming, right? Man, did I mention I love this show? haha ignore the coloring I just kinda flat colored it for five minutes. The uncolored version is right huuur [link]Anyway, this has to be my favorite pairing. I mean, holy tits when he comes to save her and goes through all that I like jizzed my pants. The ending was kinda melancholy though. But really, its not like they were going to rent out an apartment and all live together for the rest of their lives.
I also started to hate Fuu less and less as the series went on. She was kind of annoying with her 'IM SO CUTE SPARE ME' routine, but whatever. She turned out to be a pretty strong willed character and I gotta give respect where it's needed. represent.

Ahhh.. I love this picture more than words can describe. You could definitely tell there was a mutual feeling of romantic love between Mugen and Fuu through all the little hints Watanabe put in throughout the series. There's an interview in the Champloo artbook where he states that he originally planned to kill Jin off because Fuu's Japanese voice actor told him she liked Mugen the best out of the two, which is also why the wrote Fuu screaming for Mugen instead of Jin at the end. If that had happened, you know there's no way Fuu and Mugen would have split up. As much as I love Jin.. I almost wish they had killed him off for that reason

Although Mugen liking Fuu prolly wouldnt happen i can definitly see Fuu liking Mugen. She always acts like she hates his guts but she's got a soft spot for him.

This made me want to look up Samurai Champloo on youtube. Found a few Mugen/Fuu AMV's. Ohh they are awesome(even if i dont totally agree with the pairing). I need to re-watch Samurai Champloo tho. There are things I forgot and a few things I dont remember completely.

I don't even really know the characters, but I have to say that I really adore the sketch of the handstand and the fluidity of your poses throughout this.
