Description this is from May, but since it's basically the only full poem I've written since then, hhhhere it is. also it partly approaches something I want to near.

maybe it resembles a collage of halfremembered senses (though I use that category just so I can get this stupid image on here, I haven't submitted anything in so long I can't figure out how to use spacing in poetry submissions)

springvibe for summertide, yay?

i think this is very beautiful.. "instep of a bear". i don't know why exactly but that part excites me.

I don't know why I like it either, that's kind of the charm for me

much better than the insomnia-inspired one. it echoes with you older work, as it still is, even for all the wordplay, more sight than sound. the double semicolon is simply wonderful... karhujen jalkapöytä (?). collage indeed, and what a one.

oh Z, you flatter me. karhun jalkapöytä, todellakin! (actually more like the sisäsyrjä, but close enough). I live beside a tiny park called Karhupuisto, and there's a statue of a bear there that inspires me all the time. in fact, I used to have trouble (a while ago) with trying to keep this bear-image from cropping up in every poem I wrote!

I've started writing in finnish btw.

hm, karhujen would be plural, enit? as you can see i'm stuck with your work in english (not that that's a bad thing) as i've done little to improve my finnish over the years.

yes, it would be plural, but the poem mentions only a bear. (: I do have finnish work ready, if you ever get to that stage in your studies.

this gave me a big grin you clever bastard. i love it, i think that your style adds itself tremendously to this wordplay and the wry tone. the perfect length, too. you mention the rhythm and I think that your typographic moments here not only generate that unique eye-searching the page rhythm, but make up for any rhythmic oddness with their spatial oddness. if you know what i mean. i'll give you 2 million universes and a beam of light that holds kasper's to travel them, and not a planet more!

haha! you're a peachy peach. perhaps this works better on the page than out loud; but my rhythmsnag feeling probably comes from the fact that I'm thinking more and more in terms of sound & speaking, versus my much earlier phase of sight & seeing. to combine the two...! but first I want to wallow in sound alone. thankss'much darlin' K.

yeah the rhythm is off-whack here, but I haven't had the energy to put energy into energizing it
