USA, private collectionI can't believe I hadn't shown this girl to you, yet! Second of my Glasswing Dragons series, she was a labour of love and definitely one of the most complex pieces I've made so far. But she was worth it!
This is a deluxe dragon with jewel tones and other precious details, such as a gem tiara (rhinestones) and transparent scales on her chest and tail. The wings are made of glass-clay, almost as transparent as real glass, decorated with raised lines and paint. The body is silver-to-silvery black, all handpainted. I love the wings' pattern.
Wingspan is over 18 cm of width.
Cold porcelain, acrylic colours, glass clay, metal, rhinestones, varnish.
