I bought the Kick Ass graphic novel from Mega comics at the weekend and read it cover to cover as soon as I got home. It's brilliant! It was like watching the movie all over again, but with more gore and a darker ending. On the last page it says 'End of book one' so there must be another one in the pipeline. I recommend anyone who loved the movie to get it.

I just looked up the location shoot of Kick Ass. None of it was filmed in America. Most of it was filmed in Toronto and London. One of the shots is inside a bowling alley called All star lanes which is in London. Any scenes that show parts of times square or New York skylines are stock shots. Pretty amazing huh!

Missed it at the cinema but still seen it, thanks to a little Chinese man with a mysterious bag full of DVD's in Macdonalds! Love that movie. The director said in an interview that most of it was shot in England. I can't believe that!

He blatantly walked up and said..''You want DVD?'' I've seen him in there a lot, there's a Chinese woman as well that sells them. It was quite good quality too, apart from when someone got up in front of the camera in the cinema once or twice! I've had some good copies of the odd movie from boot sale sellers too. I couldn't believe it was shot mostly in England either, I'll have to look into it because it sure looked like America to me! I was surprised Nicholas Cage was in it actually as I heard it was made on a budget as well. I haven't actually read the comic it was based on yet, but that's on my next to buy list.
