I worked over the nice watercolour I did some weeks ago. That's why you should never leave art with an artist.
look at both versions and tell me which one you like better.

Yea, here I take the interpretation into my hands instead of letting the viewer develop her/his own ideas. Maybe I'll do it more subtle another time in another pic.

yup. i'm tired of looking at something and instantly knowing what's going on. I like that I can look at something that you do, and say, "oh wow, that looks really nice. the color and lines are all WHAT THE BALLS!!!"

I like this one more! It adds contrast in the sky and the pic looks nicely balanced and also creatures in the sky gives a fairy-tale athmosphere and add something to think of like "oh, is that a kid's dream? and where is the kid? or maybe is it a mystical world where the kite has flown into?" This version looks more interesting though x3

Hard to tell, really - as the older one has a tad nicer appeal in thumbnail size.
The only possible 'minus' that the older one had was the uncanny ornate cloud with a sky hole punched right through it and shaded in a way that suggested a vertically looming shape right where the bottom was supposed to be. . . and even then it is something that I only noticed when clouds have been remade into uncanny animals.
Personally, I like the remastered version more than the previous stage.

Well, Michael Ende was a German author and the movie was a collab between US, English and German film teams, so I think both names are right in their own way. The original Fuchur would have been too funny in English though

Of course all names are right. IF you do a voice-over, you have to connect with your own language. That'll mean also names I guess
That movie was a real familyfilm . Our daughter (also on DA..she dragged me into it) LOVED the movie (stil has one, and she's at the end of her twenties hihi).
Fuchur.. In the Netherlands we had a toddler-tvseries with a dog named 'foofer' .. (a blue dog) hihi..
Children...so nice so see them grow up, and enjoy them in your family. We feel so privileged to be parents
