Description Ah...I think it's about time to start painting again. Actually this is just a quick painting I did to get ready for an awfully big painting I have to do for a friend of mine.

Edward Scissorhands. The one Burton character I can relate to the most. Hope you like.

Done with Watercolors and bit of Acrylics (for the lil white spots).

Thanks so much! Yeah, I love watercolor but I find that learning how to master that medium is neverending! Once I think I have it figured out, I see someone do something with it that I've never seen done before and so it all starts from scratch again for me. I'll stick with traditional media as long as I'm allowed to.

Thanks much! I think it was burnt sienna for the skin...or a mixture of red with brown...Hmmm...I don't remember now. Ahaha! Anyways, thanks very much.

You and I both, sadly...LOL. That's my "sit back in bed and watch a good movie whilst you paint" style. People tend to like that style the most (from me). Gives me a good reason to not get out of bed in the morning. Ahaha! Unfortunately, it's too darn beautiful outside where I live for me to stay inside all day (hence the lack of artwork lately).

You got it!Yes,the only differnce between Edward and people like us is the shearers,BUT it can affect people on lots of levels I suppose.For Burton a personal film,however we identified with Edward so Tim is'nt so strange after al is he?

Yeaaah, I'm not sure why but I was told yesterday that I looked "normal" for a change. Pffft, whatever THAT means. Ahaha! It was a meeting at work, I was MADE to look normal then.
And uh...No Corpse Bride hoodie for you. Might be a wee bit too small for you. I have a Corpse Bride umbrella, but you can't have that one either!!

Aww..come on Thats great seriously,I never knew they made those for the girls.Hot Topic has alot of Alice In Wonderland stuff right now.Do you collect alot?I have mainly Edward,Beetlejuice anda few Nightmare pieces.I missed out on the Corpse bride stuff unfortunately

They do make them for girls. I have proof (as you can see). They make them for the teensy weensy ones like me too! YAY for Hot Topic! I actually haven't been to Hot Topic in more than a year, so definitely haven't seen any of the Alice stuff. *sigh* So I guess you can say I used to collect? I have a lot of non-clothing items from Tim Burton movies and such. Mostly Nightmare Before Christmas because that's what most people give me as gifts. But I also have some of his tragic toys (yay!). Yes, I'm one of those that collects "dolls and action figures." Ahaha! Too bad you missed out on the Corpse Bride stuff...You'll be ooooooohkay. LOL...

Oh yes!Thats what I collect too the action figures,bobble heads and a few repro posters.The Nightmare collection is so hard to keep track of is'nt it?So many figures have been produced.I am happy tosay i have one set of those tragic toys,hooray for oyster BOY!Hahaha

Oh, I gave up keeping track of the Nightmare collection. I just buy whatever it is I don't have and be happy with it. I'm sure I'm missing a sh*tload of stuff though. Don't forget Junk Girl and the Boy with Nails in his eyes!
