Description Another from my best mates wedding.

This shot is of ~sevgrlx who was holding my Super 8 camera after shooting a roll of K30 for me. [Thanks btw!].

I love the way she is gripping it and how her nails look black. It all matches, the black and gray tones of the camera and the similar tones on her skirt.

The rest of the shots can be seen here: [link] and [link]
Camera: Canon Rebel 2000
Film: Fuji Neopan 400
Lens: Canon 28-80
Exposure: Unrecorded.

I love this shot! I really really do. The thick black border and the writing at the bottom look unnecessary to me but the photograph itself is superb.

old-fashioned and sweet looking. like it a lot. (ok, so video cameras aren't exactly old-fashioned, but shhh...)

i like pretty much the composition, it looks so retro! I don't know why but it seems poetic to me, the flowers on the dress, the old camera and the nail polish.... like it!

Thank you! That shot was begging to be taken really.
I love my super 8 cam also - the work it produces is spot on. Just how you would envision an old camera, but with enough clarity and resolution to yield great visuals. This is one of my fave shots and i really appreciate that someone of your quality work likes it!

i have long loved the lighthearted and girlish feeling of this shot. the way you cropped, framed and titled it makes it resemble a still from a silent movie too. i am not exaggerating when i say that you took the best photographs from that wedding.

Aw, I knew this was a fave of you and sev's. I really like it too. I am getting the silent movie vibe too! I never noticed that before. I think we both took our fair share of good and bad pics at that wedding. I know there are some I shot that I cannot bear to look at again!

your work is becoming
like a pros
I say this as,
the normal photographer
allways trys to fit everthing in tell the whoe story
u focused on one section, which makes the photograph more intresting, your thinking out of the box, and focusing on the subject. Very good shit, a photo i would be proud off
your the best!

ah, this is just beautiful. Yes, the contrast works very well I think and the composition is somewhat capturing, in that it is a very expressive photo, full of emotions and it triggers imagination in ones mind in its simplicity.

Ohh!
this is by far my favorite of all you wedding ones,
I love the contrast between her dress and the camera
it brings up wonderful suppositions
on how they're juxtapose.
hehe i guess this makes more sense to me
awasome though!
