Corby has been avoiding the town square ever since last year, although she had the urge to visit the new tree tonight. Whether it was her wanting move on from those memories or just paranoia that something may happen again, she isn't sure. So she put on her costume and went to the town square to help the mayor hand out candy.
After a few hours there, Iset walked up to the two and asked for directions back to the Rattle's Rest. It was obvious this woman had already had quite a bit of sap tonight. Corby turned to Tendarei and told him that she'd help Iset while he continued handing out the candy. Normally Corby would be all for bringing her to the Rattle's Rest and having a few drinks, but tonight didn't seem like a good time for that. Instead, Corby shared a bit of water with Iset and started walking her home.
