Description I'm checking the difference between professional glazed paper and simple paper for printer.
I used cheap pencils for child's creativity (as usual).
For left drawing I used simple paper and professional to the right drawing.
Conclusion: Cheap paper for cheap pencils.
P.S. Watercolor pencils didn't draw on the glazed paper at all  , just tried.

I don't want to use expensive anymore.
Everyone advised me to use professional stuff, so I decided to try.
I like printer paper, it's easy to draw on it for me.
All my pencil drawings are on printer paper
Thank you so much for your kind words! It's a great support for me!

Interesting!! I had to look up what glazed paper was, and I wonder if it's common to draw on that? Maybe it's because of bad translation by google, but it told me it's the kind of paper used for printing photos. Is that right?
The frog on the left looks amazing!

Thank you!
My paper (as write on the paper folder, Excuse me my English) is for
ink, pen, pencil and markers. It called "For graphic works"
May be for graphite pencils

Ahaaaa. I actually use that for colored pencil.... ( Canson Paper for pencil, ink, marker and watercolor) I really really hope using other paper will help me make better drawings.  Thank you so much for this comparison and for responding!

Ах, то я буду перекладати за допомогою Google. Я сподіваюся, що це краще.

"О, нічого собі. Я б не здогадався, той зліва, щоб бути професіоналом папір, це виглядає так дивно реалістичними."

Amazing. So we get this right, the professional paper is made for pencils? Or for what purposes is it sold?
If it is advertized to work with all sorts of colored pencils, the result is really disappointing.

The left frog looks really nice, as was to be expected from your mad skills in this medium.

great job on both drawings...indeed it was worth the effort, but if you had paid attention we all have made this try to see what happens with cheap materials and mediums, for money saving in my case...but the results are never the same as with professional and expensive materials and instruments...sorry but if you want the best effects you have to spend money...i urge not to continue experimenting, unless you want to be an expert on why some stuff doesn´t work. just go for the best instruments and best supports the rest will be product of your experience and your talent...also your efforts!!!

I'm not agree with you
Some professional artist told me: "No matter what materials do we use, the most important is by which hand"
I think he is right  . We can use the most expencive stuff, but if we can't draw/paint, the result will be bad.
So my experiment prove it.
Expencive paper lost. I like the result with cheap paper, it's my hobby, I love it!

ulltraz In reply to Rustamova [2014-04-28 19:30:22 +0000 UTC]

i agree with you...if you are learning, not at your level...your level is almost professional. so at your level and in accordance to your goals you need better materials. when you are learning you can start cheap...but as someone told when i studied, if you want to really learn start with the best materials, but i like to walk at my pace so i always started cheap. he was right specially when i started airbrushing, you know all airbrushes do the same as all other materials.well i started airbrushing with a cheap 20 buck chinese airbrush. you don´t know how much anger and frustration it brought to me, until someone reminded of what someone told about materials, so long story short, i ended buying a 360 dollar german airbrush. so my learning experience not only went faster but with a lot less frustration. the same happens with color pencils and water colors. i did the same progression because i wanted to start cheap. but in the long run i ended buying expensive professional materials. i worked recently with a white ink, you can see the result, it was frustrating for me because my american nibs weren´t the best to work with this ink,i ended using japanese nibs, they were the only ones that could handle the cheap ink, you can see the results in my gallery.

i agree that if you know what you are doing you can draw with anything and i mean anything. but what is learned: composition, technique, color theory, helps you become a master not just an artisan and materials makes you exceed. i mean is that not only your hands works, but your mind too. there is a story about a brazilian artists in the colonial period, he was a rockstar in his time, if you didn´t know, churches in latin america during that period were so inbued in what is called the barroque period, so everything was done accordingly. so when you builded a church, the altar(?) was done full of gold representing the heavens, long story short he was diagnossed with leprosy...so as when the illness progressed the heat, the humidity and the ants ended to destroy his hands and so he had his instruments tied to what was left to his hands, and it was during this awfull period that he produced his best work...

i know it is only a hobby for you, but you are in a professional level right now, you only have to sell to become professional...also you seem to be a very good person and a kind one also, so for me to share with you is very easy, so don´t look at yourself that you are just a amateur, you just need to sell to be a professional!!!

when comming to professional stuff, there is where you need to experiment!!! for instance i have found that between rembrandt polycolor and prismacolor y prefer prismacolor...because how i do feel it, and the variaety of color mixing i can get! but that is me, it can work different ways for you! also in experimenting is for reaching to a conclusion, what is best for what! continue with the awesome job!!!

For glazed paper I need oil pencils, but it's difficult to buy it in my country.
But it's ok, I like to draw with my simple pencils
