Aidan’s Personality: Aiden loves exploring new places, mainly woods and other nature areas rather than cities, but instead of calling it “exploring” he calls it “wandering”. He is the fun-loving social type, he usually hangs out with friends, playing video games, taking karate classes, or drawing. He hates doing strenuous thinking, resulting in him procrastinating in homework and problem solving. He is more of the artistic type than a thinker or dedicated athlete. Although, when it comes to fighting he can’t help but analyze the situation; looking at every detail; from the opponent’s stance and movement, to the surrounding environment, seeing what he can use to his advantage. He is not the type to start a fight but will defend himself if necessary.

Gaomon’s Personality: Like Aiden, Gaomon likes to explore new places. Although, his favorite place to explore is the human world, because he hadn’t been there before he met Aiden. He love to train, whenever he finds time he is either working out or shadow boxing but his favorite type of training is speed training. When he is in the digital world, he is in the forest running around and dodging and jumping on branches, while he is in the human world in his In-training state, he has timed races with himself just bouncing around. Gaomon isn’t really the social type; he would rather keep to himself or Aiden rather than making friends. When he does make friends however, he is loyal to them to the very end.

History:
After a hard day’s work of college and a tough karate lesson, Aiden fell onto his bed, took out his Nintendo DS and started up his Digmon World DS game. He had heard stories of the increasing threat of evil digimon and the missing DigiDestined, but all he could do was play a story lined game based on what was actually happening, or so he thought. As he started up his game, the screen started to flash; on one of those flashes, though he didn’t think it was possible, was the Crest of Courage. After a few seconds the title appeared on the screen once more. Aiden shrugged it off and continued on with the game, but after pressing the start button the only option was to start a new game. He was irritated but was too tired to bother with trying to get his game back, so he just created a new file.
His game progressed as normal, until he got to the choosing of his digimon. Instead of Tsunomon there was a different In-training digimon, it was a Wanyamon, He knew about the digimon, was his favorite, but nothing online or even game's programming said anything about it being in the game. Out of curiosity he chose the out of place digimon and read the text. “Hi Aiden, my name is Wanyamon. Please take care of me.” After reading this, Aiden just stared at the screen; this would have been a normal statement, if it weren’t for the fact that he used the name Ryu instead of Aiden. A bright light shone from the DS’s screen, blinding Aiden. When his vision came back he looked around his room and on the other side of his bed was Wanyamon, around his neck was a talisman with the Courage symbol on it. He gave it to Aiden telling him it was the Digital Shard of Courage and that if he put it into an electronic device it would become a digivice. Aiden attatched it to his watch making it a digivice and Wanyamon his partner.
Aiden was shocked; he just stared from his watch to his new digimon. A smile appeared on his face; he had a digimon, he could help with the problems in the digital world, he knew he was going to be heading off on an exciting adventure. He and Wanyamon left home for Japan wondering what was in their futures.
