Iwata-Sensei, from all of us Nintendo fans, appreciators, hardcore and casual gamers, we will sincerely miss you. You're time on Earth may die, but never will your legacy fade away.

This is the first I heard of it.
Now I am sad.
People shouldn't die.

That is one of two things that I would sincerely agree to get rid of completely if I had that power! The second is chronic unending pain!

(I don't fully believe in getting rid of all pain as you do need some pain to grow physically and mentally and also as a means of testing your character and principles. But pain shoulden't be rediculously high for such huge extended periods of time with no measurable relief!)

Problem is: I don't hold the title of life and death!

There won't be another person like him in all eternity, for he is the one and only Satoru Iwata!

The only CEO and President of a corporation that I know of that took a 50% pay cut to his salary! For these last few economically troubling years at Nintendo!

I really wouldve expected Iwata sensei to live much longer than he did, especially since spiritually Japan is the land of the kami and by practicality they know how to balance their eating habits. We do need pain to help us grow and it does make us realize what's important in life, but like you said, too much over an extended period of time is intolerable. I wish Iwata's tumor disappeared and he seemed to look forward to more projects post surgery, this is partially why I hate what the human body does sometimes, screw us over even at times when we know we want/have more to do in life.

A D-pad. That's actually freaking brilliant. Great tribute.

Why can't I hold all these tears back?!?!

This is actually great honor to Satoru Iwata. And whoever disrespects him (since he is the greatest face of Nintendo) will always be the sorry heartless motherfucker that he or she would be. When I get done with an entry to my friend's collab, I will make a video in honor of Mr. Iwata himself.

Nice and will check it out when I get a chance, though it is really sad and shocking to hear about Mr. Iwata's passing, he is pretty much the man who helped spread Nintendo's influence not just among gamers but to people of all generations, backgrounds, and hobbies in part thanks to the Wii.

Yeah. I just hope the NX will be as successful as the Wii itself. But it is a shame that the Wii U isn't receiving any love from other gamers and non-gamers though.

Iwata might as well be the guardian angel of NX, I hope his spirit will reach out and guide the staff at Nintendo and developers of the other companies who are helping to create it.
