a sketch i did during work one night. it was boring as hell. 6 and a half hours of almost no customers. this was done in about an hour. its technically not done. the necklace was supposed to have the characters of all the zodiacs, with the dragons' being on the biggest one. the idea was that each zodiac animal had the same necklace placed in order as they appear on the zodiac wheel. but, the animal would only get to wear the full necklace when it was his year. otherwise, he wore a much smaller one with only a single orb with his own character on it. when it was his year, then he would get the 12 orb one with his own on the biggest. so, in this sketch, its the year of the dragon and he is fully adorned with the scarf and the necklace.

i didnt know the characters in either chinese or japanese, thats why theyre not there.

i even did a sketch of the cat. but for some reason my laptop deleted it and i didnt realize it. i might put it up later. he wore a necklace with an orb, but the orb is black with his character in red, symbolizing his eternal status as outcast. his tail has 13 black stripes on it. i even worked out a lil story for him of how he tries to sneak into the zodiac and any gatherings the animals have. one specifically is he tries to sneak into a gathering disguising himself as the tiger. he paints himself with black stripes and tries to sneak in, saying he is the son of Tiger. but the gatekeeper only has to count the stripes on the cat's tail to see that the claim is false.
