Description
The Matterhorn, Zermatt, Switzerland. The chapel in front is so tiny, it only takes 16 people! Last October 2 great mates got married at this little chapel. It was a hike down from the lift and despite the appalling October forecast, out of nowhere came this perfect, sunny and really warm day (so hot, we all sat outside to have lunch and the restaurant had to put parasols up!). it really was a spectacular day for so many reasons. These friends are moving to Singapore at the end of the month, so this is a gift from me to them.Oil on canvas with palette knives

I have no idea. I just went there for my friend's wedding. Its a public place, so I guess is available to anyone to capture. If you do find it on a CD cover, let me know, I'd be interested to see it.

Well, the paint is very textured as I use a knife to paint, so it has a different feel to a brush painted picture.

Thanks. It was so beautiful. None of us were prepared for a day like that, it was forecast to be dull, cold and even snow, so when we got up the mountain to this, it was incredible!
