Probably 'cause it's it's own style I guess and so you have to try and follow it instead of your own. Though, fan art in an original style can be cool too. But indeed, most Daria fan art is just poor quality.

Of course me knowing a thing or two about Dariarotica, I also know how difficult it is to draw the characters in a sexy way using the original style, which is why I went for an Anime influence. You pulled off what I couldn't do here.
