VERY LATE but entry for event 1 of

Deka's power somewhat influences people. In times of need, prayer or none, he gifts them hope, showing them all they have to fight for, that they still have something to lose. Other than hope, he gives them a temporary physical enhancement for the duration of the fight, at least until its all over. He can also influence other gods, boosting their power and passions with a simple touch. Sometimes, when it really is dire, he'll sort possess them and maximize their skills, letting their hand move smoothly, but not invading their minds (they are aware he's there but more of a silent support-guide thing). He occasionally follows around those with the scent of a hero, helping them here and there, prayer or not.

As Deka doesn't actually know how to use his powers very well, he follows his instincts. When weak (very low hope or he used up too much energy) he'd revert to a sort of cat form and go sleep for a while if everything's over.

As for what he thinks of Ysil... he just thinks she's neat. Not much opinion on her, he'd rather go play.
