I don't know who the photographer is, it's not pointed anywhere. I said that I was doing studies based on pictures at the start of the series. My bad if it's not written all the time but with a little bit of looking around it would've been found. I'm not trying in any way to pass the work of others for mine it is just made to better my skills. 
Also, funny you're linking the picture from a blog that doesn't give proper credit to the photographer or model.

It is a study, using photos as inspiration for practicing. I've said it at the start of the series of portraits I did, my bad if I didn't copy it on every picture done.

I assume it's a study, aka drawing from a reference. It's not "modified" it's most likely been drawn from scratch.

credit should still be offered. even if just to say that a photo was used as a reference, if the artist isn't sure where it's from.

I agree about the credits. Even some internet-famous artists happen to "forget" about crediting.
