I realized I never actually posted any pictures of Solstice, Quasar's royal guard, who is sent to Earth (Mobius? Sonic's planet?) alongside Quasar. So here she is.

Solstice would not have been Nebula's first choice as a guard for Quasar, but it was an emergency and Nebula didn't really have the time to be picky. The reason for that is that Solstice comes from a family who has been part of the Royal Guard since before the Ecrionan Empire. As such, worship of the royal family as something akin to deities is a deeply ingrained belief in Solstice's family. Nebula simply could not bring herself to refuse Solstice becoming part of the Royal Guard. Despite efforts by Quasar's great-grandmother to dispel the false narrative that the royal family is god-like, many people (among them Solstice's family) refused to let go of that belief.

Solstice was seperated from Quasar when the travelled through the wormhole and ended up on different parts of the planet. While searching for her, Solstice ran into Eggman. He gets her to work for him for a while and fight Sonic for him by offering to help her search for Quasar. Of course, Solstice eventually caught on to that and went on to find Quasar herself. Solstice is a bit overzealous in her effort's to ensure Quasar's safety, accusing anyone and everyone to intend to harm the princess.
