"Our dresses make a statement but our faces tell it all..."Well, actually, there is only a little bit more attention paid to their facial expressions this time... I just needed a different quote than Prom 2006!!!
This is Prom 2007: Vivid Expressions!!!
Presenting, in all new dresses, colors, and placement on the page... (Temari: Um, what??!!) The five Naruto girls!!! On Prom night!!! ...Again!!! And presenting Ino- chan as the special girl in the middle this time.
From left to right: Temari, Tenten, Ino Yamanaka, Hinata Hyuga, and Sakura Haruno.
Look at this!! [link] Ah, as you can see, my drawing has improved. As much as I love P06 to death, I am happy that this came out a whole lot better.
...But, I couldn't really draw Ino's shoes from the front view. I could probably draw them from the side view, though, but not from the front...
I had drawn Tenten's hair, then realized that in reality it was a lot longer than what I drew. So I sadly made it longer. I say sadly because it was so cute before... And I had to move it from in front of her head to behind it.

Ino's dress/ purse/ hairpiece are all made up of two different colors... fyi. And Hinata's dress is a different color than the circular jewels she's wearing.
The blue thing behind Ino is like a humongous present bow or something, with giant ribbons coming out.
The things on Temari's arms are just... a bunch of jewels hooked together or something. Stylish, yes, functional, probably not. Good thing this is just a picture.
Look closely and see one of the silver things that's holding Tenten's hair.
Started: July 25th, 2007 (exactly a year after P06 <3)
Finished: August 13th, 2007
On the date, there is a heart beside the 4 because August 4th is when the 4th Naruto Movie came out!!!
I want to do another one sometime!!! I'm not sure when, but I'll have Sakura in the middle, in black. And Tenten in red for some reason.
These prom pics are so much fun to do!! If you want to draw something like this because you got the idea from me, go ahead. But you should mention that you got the idea from me...
And just to be fair, I have decided to do a boy's Prom, too!!! It will be ten guys, so I will have to do two pictures instead of just one. It will probably be a while before it gets here, though.

I really like ino's face in all of these. I think the only ones who are happy are ino and tenten.

It's weird! I never make poor Hinata happy... When I have done these Proms, I do not really think about the previous ones' facial expressions, so sometimes they end up repeating. (I do, however, look at dress shapes and colors and try to vary them every time.)

I had such a hard time coming up with Hinata's, so I'm glad you liked the final product.

Thank you for your comment, because I do pay extreme amounts of attention to clothing and color in a picture. Like in Sunrise, you can barely see the yukata, but I still agonized over the color!!!
For this drawing, I did make some rules for myself about the dresses and colors:
1. No one could have the same dress shape or color as they had in the previous Prom picture.
2. No one could have the same dress shape or color as anyone else in the picture.
3. No one can wear the same color as they do in Naruto. (No red for Sakura, no pink for Tenten, etc.) (I didn't care if they matched up to Shippuden, though.)
The first two rules make the picture look more interesting, and the third one makes sure you see the girls in different colors than you usually do!!
