i had to resize this thing so many times.
it was really really huge.

this is for osy057's naruto eledia contest which ends at halloween.
i had this drawn the day he announced it, scanned weeks ago, and colored about a week ago.
i'm really lazy aren't I?

so here's his lengthy background info...
it explains a lot that's wrong with him.

he's an orphan so he grew up traveling and picking up things from different villages and stuff.
so when he became a ninja he didn't know which village he belonged toso he just made his own little forehead protecter, which he got permission to do.

Now let's talk about his fashion sense...
he gets it from me.
i have this obsession with making my characters all one color so he's really green. He wears a blue scarf around his waist, but he doesn't really have a shirt on. Instead he wears a vest. His hat (night cap) has a little shuriken on the end so people usually try to avoid being around him in formal situations. His pants are falling apart and he's worn those clothes for so long the colors have faded. And also he wears tights underneath his pants. Kinda like guy and lee but girlier...

He's very sleep deprived so he has bags under his eyes all the time and that kinda correlates with the night cap...

His lack of sleep is always getting in the way of his judgement so he's not really that good of a ninja. He's always messing things up and making mistakes.

That brings us to the squirrel.
She's a summon that refuses to go away. She nags him all the time. If it weren't for her nagging he'd probably be dead or something by now. She keeps him in check. Also she has blue highlights on her tail.

And for his sword... he just happened to come across it on the road and the squirrel (which i will name eventually) was nagging about having a weapon for protection and stuff cause his ninja skills stunk so he just took it.
it's an elemental sword... but he does't know how to use it. Mostly because i haven't thought that far, but it's also because he's too lazy to figure it out.

He's really "chill" and relaxed. He likes to pace himself and tends to waste time zoning out. He's a bit clumsy cause he gets minimal rest, and he has issues sometimes. Every now and then he'd see a hallucination and things would go horribly awry.
