for along time now i've wanted to do a tex with the star on her back, i just couldn't find a reason to do just that, i also really wanted to do a half armored look, i a lot of thought on how they may dress in the armor, probably lower half, then arms so you could lift the heavy torso.if you post this some where else tell me please!

i I like the look of my Tex better one based of Luke Mcays redheaded tex. Personaly i dont agree with 90% of what happened in season 10. the BS with Allison is one of them

yeah and the thing is on the wiki it says that Carolina is supposed to be the Director's and Allison's daughter so where does the red hair come from? (unless from a bottle but I doubt it)

I love how you drew her with auburn/red hair. For all the flaws of season 10, the worst by far was that they made Allison blond and what that implied for Tex. I always imagined her with short auburn hair.

yeah, i was twitching, and screaming and yelling "no! that's wrong!!" for a while. and now every one have to point that it to me 'you know tex is blond. i hate every single implication they had with tex/allison

Gonna have to disagree with you on... almost all your points. Save for the fact that, yeah Carolina DID get a little too much focus. That said, I think your whole 'Season 10 isn't canon' stance is pretty harsh. Course, that could've changed as I've only just now looked at the date, but you have to admit that Season 10 did a lot of good things right.
Yes, the animation had some awkward moments, but the fights themselves were incredible to watch, with amazing choreography by the late great Monty Oum (God bless his soul) and it didn't feel quite as forced as it did in season 8. And it was DEFINITELY a marked improvement over Season 9's animation.
As for the lack of comedy... eh, that ones personal preference. I had a lot of laughs from this season. Was it perfect though? No. Probably not. Again, a little too much Carolina but I will say it brought a good end to the Freelancer plot and the show has (In my own opinion) seen a marked improvement in story telling since then. I think Roosterteeth was testing the waters with season 9-10. They were used to more straight up comedy, and while 6-8 definitely went darker, 8, 9, and 10 were when the character development really started to kick in.
But I'm rambling at this point. Probably because I've binge watched all 13 seasons... again. And I've sorta over-analyzed everything. And now I have an entire essay written out... Whoops.

Dont feel bad about the essay of Text, I love when people give me an essay of Text (now i have to go back a read what i wrote)
Ive been told since then that Carolina is burnie favorite, so it makes sense that she took front and center, but my problem is that season that seams to be to many stories and plot points around her that dont add up in all the time spent on her. she has different stories going, the story about her not bring the best, the story about getting revenge, and the story about her daddy issues, and if one of them had a better payoff i might be less harsh on the season. but as it stands to much was put on her, with out a better resolution for any of them. it has taken me a very long time but i almost Like Carolina, but that is mostly due to the last season and this one (I will say my Favorite moment with her in 10, is when she cracked a joke, and all season 13 when she is does it I really really like her. mind you her jokes arent that hahaha funny but she is more of a person and less of token badass)
Of all the things I dont like about season 10 this is the one i feel bad about, to me i some times think im nitpicking when i look back. I Know first hand how much hard work and time goes into the animation, the fights where never bad, its more the walking around freelancer base and the few CGI conversations that I dislike (and they had so much of it). Monty always brought his A game to stuff like that and there really was some nice stuff to look at (theta north sniper test was fantastic), and i Always feel that the stuff i didnt like were the brand new guys (the Animators) they hired and had to get the work done in the crazy 6 months.
I think By season 10 Burine was kind of burnt out on writing RVB (and i think that was around the time he was getting a divorce too.) so i dont think it was them Testing the waters (cause i think season 678 were way darker then the freelancer stuff) I think they were building up a really good Climax to freelancer stuff with Season 9 and With 10 it failed because they tried to get to much in because Burine was planing moving on and giving the handing the story writing to others it had one more season to tackle the stuff it brought up it might have been a lot better. it did have some moments that were funny, but not your normal season worth
there are just Some fundamental things that I cant get over that still bug me. 1) as much as loved North, I don't know why he was such a key player in the seasons 9-10 i really would have liked to see Carolina be the person York confides in It would have made more sense considering their 'supposed romance.' 2) I hate how they end Tex's story. by sort of just replacing her with her kid, 3) I hate Hate HATE. the idea Carolina is Church's and Tex's Crotch Spawn
i will always skip it when doing the re-watch and prefer skip over since it doesnt really effect the rvb crew that much

nice. i see you really care about the series. i did not get that involved in it. i wanted less serious stuff and more comedy. i simply did not laugh enough in season 10 as i did in previous seasons. i just never got that invested in the characters. i do like seeing how you can analyze the structure of the characters and the story. i do that a lot on stuff that i care about and as a story teller myself it is important to understand character relationships and story development.
as for the animation the biggest problem i have with it is the character faces. they seemed very low on texture and it showed against the great detail in the backgrounds and armors.

well i love the funny shit too. i mean i really love the funny my favorite season is 4 where they just have the best jokes.
fuck if Season 10 had been really funny i wouldn't have cared about the rest of it. but it wasnt. that was little rant was pretty much just me sitting down a really looking at why i didn't care for season 10. after not being impressed at all this season
i dont mind that show took a serious turn as long as still dishes out the funny and this season really lacked it.
as for the animation, they have 50/50 on the faced some parts really got alot of work and others they really needed to go back and do a few more passes
