I have never try to draw background so hard before, but finally I make it!! *Horraaayyyy*I felt drawing background was quite fun as well, so I'm curious with the result. The most enjoyable part might be a tree, I tried to make momiji leaf brush and (I think) it looks good. I still feel awkward with waterfall, I think it's still weird and bla bla bla bla bla...
I don't care if I fail. I will doing better next time!
Done with : Photoshop C4 + my lovely mouse
At the end, I'm glad enough to end this year with nice art.

it's a really old picture when I still use mouse, I kinda forget some method... that time my style is not certain yet >///<
I use cell shade as the basic and adding some brush and painting the background.. I use a lot of layer and use multiple/overlay layer to pull out the color
well, I did it a little a little after back to home, maybe more than a week I think, eventhough it's tiring and kinda boring we should learn to finishing everything we draw I guess :3

Okay I love both parts of this! I say parts because the way you match them up is a little awkward. It appears that the girl is standing over the cliff or dangerously close to it... I love the background and the character, just work on placement.
