This is for ‘s contest…but this pic is more than a surprise gift than a contest entry…especially for someone who doesn’t know you O________o; (I’m a dork

I’m not sure if she is still depressed or not, but I really do hope my picture will make her smile. 
For this, I tried to do a different drawing style similar to popular Japanese artists…I hope it turned out the way I thought it should be…

EYAHHHHH *wow. I'm saying that tooo much lately* IT"S SOOOO CUTE! ^__^ the coloring is gorgeous on the hair, and the eyes. eek. you must get tired of me saying that everytime. <__<
The hand is VERY nicely done, considering you made the nails there nicely enough so it's not unatural of any sort like my drawings with nails are. XD
The layout is SOO very awesome. The starts are a nice addition. ^___^
XD. love the music notes. the firey-ish background (you probably didn't intend for it to firey) is amusing, since our drumline show currenly is Fire Garden Suite, and our floor was painted sorta like that. ^_^

our show is awesome, sounding n'stuff. it's literially "rockin'" but.. our uniforms are HORRIBLE. we wear a long-sleeved red shirt, with a LEMON yellow t-shirt over that. it doesn't erally look.. fire-ish. they should've made it orange instead of yellow. or had like.. a yellow sleeve-less over the orange t-shirt.. we're going to cut the yellow one up somehwat though.. to be more 'flamey' XD of course, in my opinion... we should have the awesome alchemy gloves n'stuff.. wooo. *way too Roy obsessed*

LOL- your uniforms sound cool. Do you have gauntlets or fingerless gloves? That would be awesome. *holds up a fire extinguisher to set the uniforms from burning* ^^
Our uniforms are black, white, and silver. Only we're not allowed to eat ANYTHING in them 'cuz our band director is afraid we'll mess them up. T_____T I get so hungry during those football games...

XD. Roy loves fire.. woo. but, I know, he definetly hates the rain. XDD *remembers the chapter in manga where he's preparing to be all heroic and saving the day, but it's raining so his flames don't work. XD*
Nope. not yet. the thing is, we're also super-poor. so we never have money for anything. but, we get all the guys to gel their hair (we were joking about lighting on of them at the end of the show. XD) and us girls get black ribbons with fire at the end.

Yes, next time I will pay closer attention to eye balance, so thank you for the tip. Haha, and you are also right about the drawing style...there are actually too many to be just "one"
