And yeah that sucks. D: Though if you have Photoshop then it ain't that hard to try to get the colors be accurate to the original drawing.. well, for me at least. xD Sometimes they turn out even better with contrast changing and such.

I do have photoshop. C: But, I dunno how to edit scanned drawings so they turn out good. XD
I use to use Windows Live Photo Gallery. But I`ll try! ^^

You would go to Image > Adjustments and from there you can do all kinds of things to make it look better; contrast, shadows/highlights, etc.
