Great to read. Rusalka Milk Bar was the place. Went to it every day in Warsaw because it was to easy to reach with the tram. This interesting old man was one day sitting beside me and I took a lot of pictures of him to get his mood.

It's a place where you can eat a good (but simple) meal for low price. Sadly there are not many such places in Warsaw today.

I loved allt the soups. Especially one with barley and potatoes in it. Schnitzel with carrot stew was good as a main course. And I learned to like hot milk and is now drinking it at home. There were many milk bars in Warsaw and every day I went to "Rusalka Milk Bar".

Hah, barley soup is one of my most favourite.
Next time you can try cabbage rolls (in Polish: goΕΔ
bki). Its pork meat with rice rolled in cabbage leaf and served with tomato sauce and it's awesome as a second dish.

Many thanks. This is a place where cheap and real polish home cooked food is served. No alcohol but instead hot milk if you like it. Love those places in Poland. Wonderful!
