A fanart for a game I like, Warhammer 40k. I wanted to draw this extremely grizzled Marshall of the Imperial Guard. I can't quite remember his name...I took this oppurtunity to make him an ornate suit of armour, just so he isn't outdone by those daddy boy marines, hahahahahah!

Chenkov is cool, but I think that if they had kept him as a high ranking officer then the guard army would become unbalanced against smaller armies like the space marines.

Hahhaah, not sure how that'd imbalance the game, since the marines have at least 4 chapter masters with army wide benefits as opposed to the IGs 2 without army wide benefits...
I really don't care if they kept the stats and the points cost for Chenkov, it's just that putting a Commander in charge of a platoon is pretty demeaning. A Commander outranks a Colonel, and most colonels lead entire battalions~
