Something I started to doodle in math and then, as always, got a little more complicated. Anyway its a foo dog/ Foo lion sort of thing. I really wish I could get the stupid lines to go away without the scan looking funny. But ahh well. Anyway about 4 hours of work with graphite pencils.Also What the heck should I do for the background?
And scanner diluted the shading, its much better looking in real life

I really like this! The pose is so dynamic and pretty, the title definitely fits well here. I think my favourite part are the feet I really like their anatomy and poses and the way you drew the scales on them. The fur going down the back is really beautiful as well. I like all the muscles and tendons that you put in especially on the legs!

Well...earlier I was drawing a dragon in a field with windmills. This creatures seems suited to a very otherworldly field too. If I were to do the background...I would probably make this piece really tall and narrow having the sky stretch high above with only a bit of rolling fields in view bellow.

You could easily get those lines away in 5 minutes with photoshop [link]
You basically just have to filter the colors red and blue out in your case, good luck!

Yeah, it's just that the tutorial isn't perfect, as each case is different. You just need to mess around with it a little bit, and hopefully you get the hang of it

Its probably more that my photoshop is elements 4 and it doesn't work as well as CS or anything like that.
