The name: Duanir, was one that I generated among several (I generated a lot that day, there was bound to be at least one good one XD) possible suggestions as dragon names at a point. It came from when I looked up translations for 'leaf' on Wiktionary, one of those listed was 'daun' and my mind switched the vowels around and added a syllable to produce the name.
No direct link between that and this cloud-dwelling fellow though.

Any particular material, or is it generally metal? (My first guesses would be: bronze/copper/brass)
(I would assume, like 'child'-sized ones or something, in his earlier years though, heh.)

yeah, he made them out of differnt things that his bird friend found beneath the clouds, so thereΒ΄s no particular term for them. Maybe as a lucky charm. Of course the necklaces were shorter back then (:

Beautiful. The simplicity of the background really emphasises the dragon. I particularly like the transparent wings and the necklaces.

It's kind of simple, but yet beautiful.
I like his transparent wings and colour at all, the necklaces and the 'clouds' in the background.
He looks to me like a wise dragon. The face however... Is he a little bit shy? :3
