This be my entry for *WhisperingWolf 's contest to draw an unsung animal that isn't a wolf or horse or other popular choice. Valuable opportunity to get as far from that old comfort zone as possible.It's a coelacanth. ^_^ I love living fossil species, especially those that grant us an in-the-flesh glimpse at the likes of our evolutionary ancestors. And call me easily pleased, but I can't grasp why people often describe this fish as ugly. xD
People who know coelacanth, please join me in pretend land where their bodies are really this flexible, cause obviously I mussed that up good. xD

ah I remember when they thought this fish was extinct and then like 15 years ago some one caught one in a fishing net or somefink like that
