If they were stuck between they would be on the defensive and attack anyone who attacked them. They might find some special kinship with the humans though being closer in physical appearance.

If one side did they might consider whoever did no matter which side. If both sides did then they would back out. They don't put themselves in the middle of other people's fights.

Ferthith is of the Zenn species. They have 3 biological sexes(takes 3 to make a baby), none of which are comparable to Earth's. They have prehensile tails and their feet-which also have thumbs- are just as dexterous as their hands.
They originate on a mountainous planet similar in climate to our Rockies only year round.The planet is a third larger in size and holds at 1.4Gs.
Thats about it for the general stuff. If you have any specific questions about them just ask

But anyway. The only thing I've really decided on so far is a triple helix dna structure, only 6 of the many chromosome combinations will actually result in a viable embryo (anything else is discharged after the three pieces come together and try to begin mitosis), all three have a phallus-like structure used for urinating (not shown here or in many of my pictures of them so far but they have extremely thick fur which given how cold it is you wouldn't want to get it wet), sexual dimorphism -if any- is undecided atm, they give live birth, and they do not produce milk.

They exist inside the Halo universe?

They exist only in my little corner of the Halo universe. I've been working on an animated series for the last 5 years and this is part of it.
Not entirely sure. Its still pretty fuzzy but the child carriers are gonna be a little larger generally. Not much bigger but they have sort of this mating battle that is usual for casual sex but much more ritualized when actually planning on children.
Because its so hard to actually make a pregnancy work and that it takes 3 individuals their entire social structure is built upon cooperation. Jealously is nearly entirely unheard of. Physical sex and love are separate. Sex can just be sex with whoever and however many. Love is a bit more picky and not an accurate word for it. It's somewhere between lovers and best friends. All start out usually as childhood friendships but some can be later in life. Again the basis is cooperation. Childhood friendships are built fairly early when they begin to train as warriors. Three individuals make a team. So when they finally reach the "love" stage if with those particular two others its already been years of shedding blood for one another, knowing their personalities/tendencies/moods as well as their own. Psychologically once this is achieved its perceived as 3 bodies with one mind(of course they are all still entitled to have separate lives outside of this threesome, no jealousy remember).
They feed their young kinda like birds do. Early on anyway. They are fast on their way to eating on their own. Life expectancy is up to 200 years if they do not die as warriors first. Longer lives give them more time to try and make babies. lol. Sexual maturity is slow and starts from age 16ish to late 20's to 30 at the latest. Training for warrior-ship starts around age 5 and lasts until the end of puberty. This hasn't changed in their society even in modern times, the only change is the setting. Better equipment.
The three pronouns are Fi, Za, and Nre close approximation of pronunciation is: F-eye, Zah, and Nree. Their language is very guttural. Have tried speaking some of the words but I can only accomplish it by going very slowly. Those three pronouns are used like he/she. I'm still working on the language but ka' is the prefix for possession so "his" would be Ka'za. For this one, ka'fi name is Ferthith.
