Another sort of practice fan to test this paper, drawn painstakingly with a copic marker... for fun I tried to get it as symmetrical as I could, but I didn't have any measuring tools beside the ribs, so that was interesting. But I like its simplicity and the marker did bleed a little, but it looks clean from more than about two feet away.
I think I actually drew this while I was in Japan, one morning before class.

You have very steady hands if you can use a marker and still get it as clean as you have! I wish I could make fans... But, I would not know where to begin. xD

Thank you! I really love the design of Ammy's markings by themselves. They're iconic to fans, but still interesting to others. And they're so much fun to draw!

Ah this is so beautiful, so simple an elegant and you did it really well, bleeding and everything it looks so great!
The wood part of the fan I don't know what you'd call it :,D has a really pretty design that looks perfect with the simplicity of the marks too. It's so elegant, this sort of thing really appeals to me :,D
