No problem. I really love reading manga more than the animae because they added fillers that don't exist in manga but sometimes, it explains everything, like for example of Kakashi's Backstory. It's a good that kishi added some mythologies and folklores because when you're in other country you almost forgot about their stories.

Beautiful pic, but I don't know if Kaguya was reincarnated, Hagoromo wasn't for example. And I think that maybe she's possesing somehow the God Tree, as it saved Madara, and Hagoromo said that his mother's and Madara's ideals match. Kaguya seems also to have elements of Queen Maya, mother of Gautama Buddha; Kali, with her destructive goddess elements; Xi Wangmu, the Holy Mother of West, and like Xi Wangmu, Kaguya's from distant western lands, and has both benevolent and demonic/feral elements; Eve, obviously with the forbidden fruit elements; Adama, the hypothetical Semitic goddess that might have been Yahweh's/El's female counterpart, and mother of Adam, as a personification of earth; and the Gnostic Sophia, who also is connected to forbidden fruit.
There also can be seen a connection to Zoroastrian beliefs. Hagoromo can bee seen a counterpart of Zurvan. Indra, as older, more 'malignant' brother, can bee seen as Angra Mainyu, and Indra is seen as servant or incarnation of Angra Mainyu in those believes. Ashura is even easier to connect with Ahura Mazda, because of their names very closely related etymology, and being a being of goodness, younger brother, and in the beginning eclipsed by his older brother. Kishi did some really interesting stuff here.

I can't believe that you know alot about Legends, Folklores and World Mythology..hehe Anyway, thank you for sharing this info that will added to my collections.
Based from your personal insights, it seems that kishi didn't stick to one religion (buddhism) 'coz he added hinduism, shintoism, catholic, etc. I think, kishi wanted us to recall all the things what we learned from school. Literature, Arts and Science, World history, etc.

Thanks! Mythology is a hobby of mine, but still discover new stuff. And yeah, I think that maybe Kishimoto wanted to make a story on how the various mythologies of the world came to be. And think that this may be a proof that the Elemental Countries represent less Ancient/steampunk Japan alone, but rather a fantasy version of Asia, with a shinobi spin on it.

The thing behind Naruto looks very similar to the thing that Ashura used in the previous chapter

That's how the Ashuras looks like in Hindu mythology. (Ashura is not a god. Ashuras are angry ghosts/demigods and a type of beings you can reincarnate into.)
The other one is how Indra looks like.
