Description
Eönwë in Tolkien's legendarium is Manwe's standard bearer and basically archangel Michael. But in truth, my personal headcanon Eonwe looks like Tilda Swinton in Constantine. Eerie, creepy, beautiful, androginous and disturbing, like a maia, imo, should be.His cloak is made of an old wasp nest.

Awesome! I love that you used wasp paper in this; it has interesting structure, and ever since seeing an empty wasp nest up close I've wondered if it could be used for paper craft. (And I definitely agree with the Tilda Swinton headcanon, it's so fitting!

Thank you, QP! I'm glad you liked it. I LOVED the wasp nest texture, I only wish I could salvage more, I was cleaning out the attic and only got one, though there were very many. Good thoughts always come too late )

One of my favourite characters, and I totally agree with the image of Tilda Swinton for him! I had a similar image in my mind, but couldn't quite put a name on it. And wow, wasp nest for cloak?

Awww, it's so great someone else would have a similar vision of Eonwe! He is one of my fave characters, to. And well, wasp nest is technically also made of paper, and it has really beautiful texture, like cerements or feathers. Lovely and creepy. And it's varying shades of slate and gray ) I should post a few close-ups, probably. Thank you!
