I'm so happy you think so!! I was going for more powerful expressions this time, as last couple times I've drawn Sorreltail miserable, and I think she'd be feeling that combined with anger!
She may be feeding off of Cinderpelt's fierce rage, which I tried to portray by putting Cindy in a stance that a warrior would take, because though she was a medicine cat she died a warrior's death.
she's ready to bite face off,,
I'm thinking Sorreltail would more be ready to jump in next however exhausted to defend her kits, so she's positioned in case!
The effects are my favorite!! The best part had to be throwing this thing in an editor and seeing how I could make it better. I'm loving the glitchy affects I found, they also help focus in on Cinderpelt!

And yep, you're right about Cinder's death and the concept of pose makes it even more epic hhhhh (I also love the fact the highlights in her eyes have stars qwq)
And yep! As a big fan of glitches I love them hhhhhhhh~

Yea, the eyes were super fun to make!! The stars for me symbolized StarClan, and fighting with the stars. And maybe the fact that she's about to die, her fate has already been decided XD
