My username is schizochicken (*kicks 17 year old self*), and funnily enough, none of my work is chicken related. Except for a few photos in my scraps. I couldn't resist painting this little chap though, he was from a book that Tegan gave me for christmas, called "Extra-Extraordinary Chickens". He's pretty. He is a bantam. Bantams are pet breeds of chicken that are raised for companionship insted of eggs or meat.
It looks great. He looks regal like this breed should.

I didn't know they made a "sequel" to the first book, how interesting...I'll have to look it up.
But you did wonderful painting him! Nice detail of the feathers. He does have a rather pompous look ;D
